For the lack of a better word, this product is "terrible" because it cracks, rots, stains, shrinks, and can poison your children,... but, there is an (up side?)... termites will not eat it for 25 years due to the high poison saturation.
 
Next, I do like hard woods. My favorite is mahogany with a life span of about 15 years when properly maintained. And it doesn't cost much more than most composite decking like Trex.
 
Now, lets talk about composites like Trex and the 75 other manufactures of similar products that have flooded today's market. These are made of a polymer in combination with wood fiber and have an average 10-year warrantee. These products are much heavier than wood and will stain and fade. Mold can take hold due in part to the wood content. So at this point, I still like mahogany better.

1. Buildling a 4 Season Sunroom out of traditional building materials is slow, invasive, and expensive because it is for all intents and purposes an addition.
 
2. Most manufactured Sunrooms don't get the job done as 4 Season rooms in a climate like New England due to condensation, snow load, and a host of other down side incidentals, too many to mention here. This is mostly because they are made of metals or vinyl covered aluminum framing with roof structures that aren't strong enough to stand up to the weight of wet snow, and gutter drainage systems unable to handle ice.
